As a thank you to Books about Town supporters we have 30 free pairs of tickets to give away to Tuesday’s auction!  Those of you who have followed the BookBenches all through the summer will have the opportunity to join in the excitement with a glass of wine, meet participating artists and authors including Children’s Laureate Malorie Blackman, and see the 50 BookBenches go under the hammer.  

The first 30 people to email [email protected] with their full name will be allocated a free pair of tickets!

The auction takes place on Tuesday 7 October at the Purcell Room, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre in London. There will be a drinks reception at 7pm and the auction begins at 7.45pm. 

Proceeds will go to the National Literacy Trust’s vital work to raise literacy levels in the UK. If you can’t attend in person you can bid online: booksabouttown.org.uk/auction.
